SENDERO VERDE

Sendero Verde’s tower will span 395,000 square feet, making it the largest affordable Passive House development in the world. B&V Contracting Enterprises was awarded Carpentry and Drywall Works for the project.

Designed by Handel Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners, Jonathan Rose Companies, and Acacia Network, the Sendero Verde complex will yield nearly 700 residences when all phases are complete, along with numerous outdoor green spaces and community facility space for social services.

When complete, the entire complex will include more than 700 affordable housing units, a 51,000-square-foot charter school operated by The Harlem Children’s Zone, around 90,000 square feet of community facility space, and an 18,000-square-foot park that connects two mid-rise towers. The Harlem Children’s Zone and Union Settlement, a community organization with 12,000 square feet of space and retail space is expected to measure 4,000 square feet.
